Marian Osher celebrated and honored the 100th birthday year of her parents with "Love the Brave World", an exhibition of lyrical, vibrant, textured acrylic paintings that responded to a selection of her mother's poetry. Osher enriched her paintings with a variety of materials, including mirrors, fabric, mylar, paper, sculpted canvas, sand, shells, archival foam board and carborundum steel grit. Siskind's poetry “paints” with words that resonate with the senses and provide glimpses of universal truths.

. . . love this little now, and life,

And the days that are all you are.” - Ruth Allen Siskind ©1951

Osher's 26th solo show features her mixed-media paintings along with the inspirational poems for viewers to enjoy as they experience their own response and connections to the words and artwork.
